公式Official Site

KAGEBAKO Five clans. Eight roofs. One storyteller.

一Nightjarナイトジャー

Card one: Nightjar leaps out of the card over a temple roof at dusk, chained sickles raised.

Nightjar

29. 178 cm. Two kusarigama.

She doesn't run across roofs. She glides, like the bird she's named for, and lands where you weren't looking. Two sickles, two chains, a veil she never takes off. Patient. Dry as old paper.

Signature move: Two Wings Closing

二Kettleケトル

Card two: Kettle winds an iron kettle on a chain over a factory roof.

Kettle

67. 165 cm. A cast-iron kettle on a chain.

Still lifts the kettle his master swung. He chains it, boils it and lets it fly. He'll shout at you, then bandage you. Watch the spout: three hisses means you should already be moving.

Signature move: Three Steams

三Pinwheelピンホイール

Card three: Pinwheel spins mid-throw above the lantern market.

Pinwheel

17. 152 cm. Bladed paper spinners.

Small, fast and never still. She folds blades out of paper and steel and throws them before she's finished her sentence. Every fight is a race she thinks she's already winning.

Signature move: Thousand Spin

四Hollow Oxホロウ・オックス

Card four: Hollow Ox swings a temple bell club over a darkened temple roof.

Hollow Ox

35. 210 cm. A bronze temple bell on a pole.

He hasn't said a word since the night his clan's roof burned. He walks, he lifts, he rings. When the bell comes down, the round is usually over.

Signature move: Last Bell

五Edoura, 1931江浦

Card five: the rooftops of Edoura at dusk, gas lamps lit along the canal.

How the story is told

Ten shinobi. Eight roofs. Sixty seconds a round. Each fighter carries five move cards. Play one and it's gone until the next round, so play it like you mean it.

Old Tock narrates from the side of the box. He watches your hand, and he has opinions.
